2022 Laclubar High School Scholarships

40 students from Laclubar High School received a scholarship for their senior education. Payment was delivered to the school on May 26, 2022 during the ceremony where FCOTI CEO Alex Sarmento, and Brooke Hyatt and Sherryn Killmister of GTNT Group were present. Alex Sarmento said “there is a long wait list of families who are seeking assistance from the scholarships provided by GTNT Group and FCOTI. The most disadvantaged students are selected but we hope to continue to expand this support to more students each year”.

Since 2011, the school has received support through the funding of 40-50 students from the contributions from Friends of Laclubar and GTNT Group Foundation with FCOTI. GTNT Group Foundation based in Darwin host regular fundraisers to continue to be able to fund these much needed scholarships. Brooke from GTNT Group said to the students “we are very proud to be able to deliver these scholarships once again, we only hope that you continue with your studies and consider university options in order to support your family and community in the future”.
